Blueprint 2015 Now Available!
The following letter introduced today's GrantCraft newsletter. If you're not already subscribed, please register for the latest GrantCraft updates.
Blueprint 2015 is here! In this sixth installment of her annual forecast for philanthropy, Lucy Bernholz shares thoughts on the social economy for the year ahead. I always personally enjoy the buzzwords list, and this year there's even a special set on design thinking (my favorite approach to problem solving)! GrantCraft became an editorial and publishing partner on this publication three years ago because we feel it's important to host conversations about the bigger picture context for funder work, in addition to sharing our more specific-to-grantmaking resources. In the vein of inspiring ongoing conversation, over the next two months we'll be hosting guest blogs and discussions reacting to and building on ideas shared in the Blueprint. Consider submitting your own reactions, too.
Blueprint's release also signals the end of another year. This has been a particularly great year for GrantCraft, and our many accomplishments wouldn’t have been possible without the dedication of our special projects associate Erin Nylen-Wysocki and our intern Davis Winslow, not to mention all of you. More than 100 funders shared their stories through guides, case studies, videos, and more. We've participated in numerous conferences, launched a new website, and added more translated content to our resource library. We are innovating within Foundation Center and also in the broader sector. For those of you who graciously responded to our #GivingTuesday appeal last week, thank you! For those of you who had the e-mail flagged and forgot to give, it's an ongoing offer.
An exciting end-of-year housekeeping note: If you want to stay on top of new GrantCraft resources, especially between newsletters, you can now subscribe via RSS or e-mail to all new site content.
Many exciting projects are on the horizon for 2015, and a lot of them are inspired by your feedback and ideas. As always, please feel free to be in touch any time. We'll also collect feedback in a more formal survey early next year, and we thank you in advance for your participation so that we can continue to shape GrantCraft as your resource.
Happy holidays and New Year to all!
