Association of Small Foundations Launches Next Gen Fellows Program

Training and professional development opportunities are important for funders to offer their staff. For staff newer to philanthropy, these opportunities are especially important so they can become equipped with a strong framework and toolkit. The Washington, DC-based ASF has hosted next gen events for several years, but this is their inaugural class of fellows. The 6 month program begins with an in-person intensive that results in a personal learning agenda, monthly mentorship, and local networking opportunities.

The deadline to apply is June 1. Anyone from age 18-35, give or take, currently or soon-to-be involved in a foundation in any role is eligible. Your organization does not need to be an ASF member for you to apply.
